Barber Park
May 27, 2015: The Boise River is a popular site for summer floating by inner tube, raft, kayak and canoe. Barber Park is the starting point for 100,000 summer river rafters. The park offers picnic areas, parking, natural areas and concessions. Wildlife observation points are located in the natural areas. The best time of day for wildlife viewing is in the early morning and late afternoon hours. Beaver, gray fox and muskrat are also present but rarely spotted. There is also Greenbelt biking available.
