Hurricane Katrina (August 25, 2005)

Here in the Miami area, we were taken by surprise because Katrina was forecasted to make landfall in the Fort Lauderdale area, which she did, but . . . she was "supposed" to continue westward. Well, she had a mind of her own and decided to turn south. Fortunately for me and my neighbors, we were without electricity for only 23 hours and 20 minutes!!
