Denise > Dwarf Chenille Plant (Acalypha pendula) (September 21, 2008)

This ground-hugging, fine-textured relative of the more common chenille plant grows no more than several inches tall. In the full sun, it forms a thick canopy of tiny, serrated leaves no more than 3/4 inches long by 1/2 inches wide. Bright red, fuzzy flowers stand erect above the foliage.

This beautiful plant replaced the Golden Creeping Jenny. It was just taking over my little yard :(
Denise > Starburst or Shooting Star (Clerodendrum quadriloculare) (May 30, 2008)

Every year when I cut this beauty back, I always worry that it just might not give new life - BUT - every year, it does just that :)

Denise > Banana Croton (Codiaeum species) (May 4, 2008)

Almost three years later . . .
Denise > Jagged Lavender, Fern Leaf Lavender (Lavandula pinnata) (March 2, 2008)

When I saw this plant, I fell in love with the leaves first - then the flower :)
